Want to to knit a dress like this and actually have it fit you?
If you said yes, then perhaps the pattern making workshop at Streets Smarts Fiber Arts on Saturday and Sunday February 6 and 7, 2016 is for you. This workshop is designed with an emphasis on how to improve the garment making skills of machine knitters.
Cheryl Cushaway Leone, a professional pattern maker, taught pattern making and machine knitting at The Art Institute of Philadelphia for many years. Cheryl can help you meet the challenges machine knitters face to get their garment to fit perfectly.
Cheryl will be demonstrating how to drape a garment on a dress form. For those who have never witnessed a garment being draped, this will be a unique experience. To eventually learn draping (in another workshop) is a goal for any machine knitter.
By taking this workshop you will begin the journey of machine knitting garments that fit. The 2 day, 4 hours each day (8 total hours) workshop is $95, which includes pattern making tools, paper, etc. Space in this workshop is limited, so early registration is vital.
