June Meeting – June Workshop

Join us on June 2 to hear Kathrin Weber talk about color in Weaving and Dyeing. She will share her ability to see color in everything with us. You will not want to miss this chance to share color with Kathrin.

Kathrin Weber has been a full-time studio fiber artist since 1980 whose work revolves around dyeing, weaving and teaching. No matter what her classes are officially entitled, they are ultimately about color, technique and weaving good fabric. An active member in several guilds, she has a strong belief in encouraging technical proficiency and personal design.

Her goals are to give beginning students the confidence and excitement to pursue weaving independently or through more instruction, give advanced students new methods and ways to approach design and weaving, and to provide weavers paths to explore weaving and designing more intuitively from the right side of the brain. Her goal for dyers is to learn to dye intuitively as a watercolorist creates color as she paints instead of relying on recipes for color. Her workshop will follow on June 3,4,and 5.june workshop
