Wendelyn Anderson

Having just finished my MFA Studio Art program at Moore College of Art & Design (August, 2012)  I’ve become interested in finding ways of creating fiber based work that addresses ideas of complacency and taking things for granted. I want to question the adage of “seeing is believing” and, as fabric is such an integral part of our everyday lives that we often give it little thought, I’m creating a double metaphor by using it to re-create forms and textures that we also take for granted.
